Our Brief Summary
Edge models are designed specifically for cycling. They include a bike mount (no wrist/arm strap). The user interface and some features are similar to Forerunner 205/305. GPS reception is more sensitive than older Forerunner models.
Edge 205 does not work with a heart rate monitor or cadence sensor, and it calculates altitude using GPS.
