Polar

Famous for their heart rate monitors, Polar makes a couple of models that also measure pace and distance using a foot pod sensor (Polar S625X and RS200sd).

If you often run in areas with poor GPS reception, you may want to consider a foot pod type device as an alternative to Forerunner.
