How can I get Forerunner to show altitude?
You can setup Forerunner to show altitude on your custom screen to keep track of your altitude while hiking or mountain biking.
To add altitude to your custom screen:
- use the mode button to switch screens until the menu is displayed
- select "settings"
- On Forerunner 301, select the sport mode (running, biking, or other)
- select "set custom page"
- choose the part of the screen you want to use to show time
- select "elevation"
